About This Bird
Louie is a senior, male Blue & Gold Macaw who was in one home for many years. Louie is our grumpy old man and does take time to warm up to people so multiple visits to this gentleman will be required. At some point in life, Louie had his tail feathers pulled out by a dog, they have never grown back. This is a reminder that dogs and parrots are predators and prey, we would prefer Louie to go to a home without other prey driven pets.
