About This Bird
Loki is a male Yellow Crowned Amazon of unknown age, although we do think he is a senior. He enjoys being in a busy area of the shelter where he can observe the action around him and get lots of attention from his favourite people. He can often be heard singing opera notes throughout the day! He is on a healthy diet and loves his chop. His favourite treat is a slice of banana. Loki would do best in an adult home with no children as he can become possessive of his favourite person. An experienced parrot home would be best to help work on these behaviours.
Loki has a pancreatic insufficiency which means he does not digest food properly. He is on a low fat diet and needs enzyme supplements daily so anyone interested in adopting him would need to continue this for his lifetime.
