About This Bird
Penni is a beautiful Double Yellow Headed Amazon of unknown age. She came from a home where she lived as a companion to a man, and because of this she has a preference for men. She is currently on a healthy diet of Harrison’s pellets and fresh chop to manage her weight. Like most Amazons, Penni loves to eat! She is extremely food motivated and will do anything for a treat! She does not love cuddles, but enjoys hanging out on people’s shoulder for hours on end. She likes to observe everything going on around her but not necessarily interact with it. She does not fly often, and when she does it is usually a quick descent to the ground. We would love to see her go to a home where she is encouraged to be more active to help her lose weight.
