About This Bird

Minnie is a fiesty, goofy, sometimes challenging Bare-eyed cockatoo.
As a survivor of the World Parrot Refuge she is of indeterminate age and
unknown history. However, we have learned a lot about her character in the
4 years she has been with Greyhaven. She is definitely female – laying an
egg proved that! Like many cockatoos this little gal has rhythm.
Sadly, her favourite music appears to be old Madonna tunes, but once you
fall in love with her you won’t hold that against her. She is active,
curious, and extremely loving with anyone she decides to open her heart to.
This includes other birds. Minnie can be a handful at first – nippy, willful, and absolutely not  inclined towards men.  Minnie’s ideal home will be with a woman and most likely as an only bird.

If you dance with her, chat with her,
and handle her with confidence she relaxes and begins to trust.
If you win Minnie’s heart she will be a companion who keeps you on your toes!
