About This Bird
Mindy is a beautiful Eleanora Sulphur Crested Cockatoo who is likely a male. He can be shy outside of the cage, but will beg for head scratches by putting his head down expectantly. He has a loving nature underneath his assertive and sometimes wary demeanor. He is selective about who he wants to be close to and needs to establish trust before he can be fully at ease. Mindy also loves his treats, and will savour a Nutriberry (his favourite) by eating it slowly. Another one of Mindy’s favourite activities is shower time! In fact, he often sticks his beak up against the nozzle of the spray bottle for a drink mid-shower. Mindy would do best in a one person home where trust can more easily be established. He needs a human with cockatoo experience.
