About This Bird
Cliff and Norm are Goffin Cockatoos and they have been incredible friends for almost 32 years! They would very much like a home together where everyone knows their names!
Norm (Male)- Is definitely the leader of the two, he is a year older than Cliff. Norm likes for people to be around, for a long stretch when he was younger enjoyed the company of a family and was very content and well behaved, as he was raised with a family. He loves to interact and check everything out, loves attention and quality time together, can be mischievous at times when he gets into stuff he’s not suppose too. He is more accustomed to males than females in recent times but likes both and most people, he does have a strong personality which is mainly good but can be trying from time to time. He likes shoulder time, music and dancing too it. Like to chew on things, frequently things other than his toys. In general he is fun to be with, can be loud at times but is definitely far better when he gets more attention. best not handled when he gets exited or reved up…. can nip by accident, ouch!
Cliff (Male)- Is shyer than Norm, but can be very social after getting to know you, prefers males but is also good with females. He tends to want to get to know people before jumping on their shoulder and socializing, can be very affectionate. Loves toys which he can turn into tooth picks in no time. Typically follows Norms lead, likes to watch people, listen to music, dance. Interaction usually on his terms. In general good company. Also best to enjoy crazy times left on his own…ouch. His cage is his castle. Enjoys exploring.
They have 2 cages, Cliff and Norm enjoy their company very much and groom, play, get into trouble together, but they prefer to sleep in their own cages. They were in a single cage for a time, but Norm would chase Cliff after a period especially during sleep time and pull on his tail feathers.
They eyeball and study younger kids, but like older kids. Believe they would be fine with both given some time.
